Parent Voice

We have always been very well supported by our parents. Something I am very proud to report back to my Headteacher colleagues from other schools. We have achieved a great deal since our school opened in September 2012 and many changes and developments made due to the useful feedback from families.

We are now beginning to form our school plan for the next academic year and the long term plan for the next 3-5 years. We would like to use the views of the most important people in the school to form this plan - the children and their parents. We need to know what you think we do well (so we can expand and strengthen these areas) and which areas we need to improve (so we can look for patterns amongst views) and address in our plan. The school is evolving and growing and the direction it takes will be heavily influenced by what you collectively feel is right for our children. Please do complete the paper or electronic questionnaire and if there is a specific area you would like to discuss, be it negative or positive, then please include your name and we will contact you directly. Thank you for taking the time to complete the questionnaire, especially the written comments box.

Parent Governors

Please remember we are looking for parent governors to join the school and help lead our school forward. We are looking for two parent governors but we would like more nominations put forward to ensure a democratic vote by parents identifies your views and priorities for our school. We have been lucky to consistently have the support and challenge of a strong governing body since our school opened. It is imperative this continues for the benefit of the children – please do consider this, no experience is necessary, just a commitment to do the best for the children.
