4th January 2016 Newsletter

Dear Parents/Carers,

We hope you have had a great Christmas and are now looking forward to a great new year.

LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT

For the first few weeks of term we will be focussing on technology, using a range of technology toys, independently using the computer and e-safety. Even though the children are young it is still very important to teach them how to be safe using computers, tablets and phones.

Please see the link below for more information on keeping your children safe.

In the role-play area we will be engaging in fairy-tale themes, as the children have enjoyed

imagination stories( basically a story the teachers have made up!) and have enjoyed acting them out. We would love to know your favourite fairy-tale/traditional stories so we can share them with the children. Also if you have an books please bring them in.

PARENT NOTICE

You may see a few new faces around the nursery in the next two terms. We are very lucky to be working with the SPARKLE Team, who are a range of professionals such as speech and language, physiotherapist, teaching assistant, occupational therapist and specialist teaching service. They will be supporting us in creating the best possible environment and providing learning opportunities for your children.
